Dr. Sukma Merati is a daily anatomical pathologist graduated from Padjadjaran University in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, who is also the founder and owner of Riau Pathology Center in Pekanbaru, Riau.

Dr. Merati has had training in Pediatric Hematology at Sophia Kinderziekenhuis, Rotterdam in 1992. She had a special observation and short course in Lung and Cardiovascular Pathology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney in 1999.

For two years between 2000-2002 Dr. Merati had a Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, USA, during which she learned more about Liver Pathology and Liver Transplantation.

Dr. Merati has a great interest in Oncology field where the more challenging the cases are, the more interesting & drive for her to disclose and finally meet the diagnose.
