Dr. Sukma Merati is an anatomical pathologist graduated from Padjadjaran University in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.
Currently lives in Pekanbaru, Dr. Sukma is a daily pathologist and head of Pathology laboratory at Awal Bros hospital, Pekanbaru, Riau.
Dr. Sukma has had training in Pediatric Hematology at Sophia Kinderziekenhuis, Rotterdam in 1992. She had a special observation and short course in Lung dan Cardiovascular Pathology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney in 1999. For two years between 2000-2002 she had a Fellowship at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY, USA, during which she learned more about Liver Pathology and Liver Transplantation.
She has great interest in Oncology field and the more challenging the case the more interesting and more drive for her to disclose and finally meet the diagnose.
