KEVINProstate cancer has been alarming most males in their fifties till seventies especially in western countries.

In Indonesia too, cases of prostate cancer were rising from year to year. Why is that ? What’s wrong with the Indonesian males these days ?

I believe part of the causes is the changing of life style in this male society. Most of them are cigarette smokers, not enough time to do exercise, consuming junk food and more stressful in facing their workload than one or two decades ago.

In a stressful condition, the adrenal gland releases cortisol and DHEA, which increasing your heart beat and blood pressure, pacing your blood circulation making you sweating and urination. At this point cortisol will block other neurotransmitters so that you’ll be unable to have a good sleep at night and a quality rest during the day.

All those factors triggered cells in the body, deviding and developing in a wrong direction. At this point the normal cells have been turned into malignant cells with very huge potential to devide and develope abnormally, beyond normal pathways.

Then, what we could do to minimize the development of this cancer ?  The only way is to consume lots of antioxidants in our daily menus. Tomato especially good for prostate cancer due to its rich in lycopene, anti-oxidant that works very well on the prostate tissue.  And another thing important is to have the sunrays on your entire body, between 7.00 to 9.00 AM.
